I apologize to anyone who has tried and failed to comment in the past. I turned off the registration function at some point because of the number of fake registrations I was getting, and I forgot to turn it back on. My bad!
To comment on any post, you must first register; click “register” under the “Meta” heading in the menu listed to the right of the posts. When you register, you provide a login name and your email address, which is not made public. A password is then emailed to you. Once you have your password (which you can later change), return to the blog page and log in by clicking “login” under the “admin” heading. Once you’re logged in, you can comment away. (You can also edit your profile and change your password and the like.) In your comments, you will be identified only by your login name. I reserve final approval on all comments, but I’m pretty liberal as long as you’re not mean or nasty.
Sorry for making you jump through hoops, but I don’t want spam.
If you have trouble with registering or commenting, please. And if you have private comments, you may directly.
Thanks for reading and for engaging enough to respond.
