“Fire Kissed”: Mesquite bowl, 9.25" long

I love this bowl, with its bean shape (from the top) and barkless natural edge and scorch patch. I turned it from a scrap of singed log that I’m sure no one else would have looked twice at. It feels like a phoenix, rising from its own ashes.
