“Chalice” (Holy Vessel Series No. 1): Eucalyptus chalice with azurite inlay, 5.38" in diameter, 5.75" tall

For me, all my vessels are sacred; their making is for me an act of worship. That said, this is the first of a series of vessels that formally explore the notion of holiness and especially what signifies holiness with regard to a vessel. Here, the shape is one associated with the sacred in many traditions. The azurite inlay fills natural voids in bud clusters at the rim and in the base.
